The Diploma in Civil Engineering at Shree Secondary School, Ashwara, is a three-year technical program affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).
Designed for SEE graduates, this course prepares students to become mid-level civil engineering technicians who can support infrastructure development projects across Nepal. With 48 seats available, the course blends theory, lab work, and site-based training to meet national engineering needs.

The curriculum focuses on science, engineering principles, and practical application:
First Year: Core subjects include Engineering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Drawing, Workshop Practice, and Computer Applications.
Second Year: Topics include Building Construction, Surveying, Hydraulics, Strength of Materials, Estimating & Costing, and Soil Mechanics.
Third Year: Emphasis on Transportation Engineering, RCC Structures, Construction Management, Water Supply & Sanitation, and Work Experience Program (WEP).

Graduates are qualified for roles in construction companies, municipalities, hydropower projects, or further studies such as Bachelor in Civil Engineering.

Quantity surveying and estimation
Technical drawing and computer-aided design (CAD)
SEE graduates with a minimum C in two subjects and D+ in one (Science, Math, or English)
Or TSLC in the relevant field with 67%
Must pass the CTEVT entrance examination
Eligible for Junior Engineer roles in both the public and private sectors. Opportunities include roads, irrigation, housing, and municipal works.
Merit-based CTEVT quotas and students recommended by local bodies may receive full or partial scholarships.
