Overview
Ten Plus Two (+2) in Education at World Vision Modern Campus, Rajbiraj
The NEB +2 in Education at WOVMS introduces learners to teaching principles, classroom interaction, and child/adolescent development.
The stream follows NEB standards for subject selection, periodic tests, practical tasks, and national board examinations. It aligns well with students aiming for B.Ed or other education-related bachelor programs.
Learning Goals
Students learn how learners think and how lessons are structured at school level. The stream values clear oral explanation, question framing, and reflective note-taking.
It also encourages community engagement through school outreach when feasible.
Curriculum Areas
As guided by NEB for Grade 11 and 12 Education:
-
Foundations of education and Nepal’s school system
-
Educational psychology: growth, motivation, and learning styles
-
Curriculum and assessment basics
-
Classroom management and inclusive practices
-
Subject content studies aligned to chosen optional areas
-
Micro-lesson planning and reflective writing tasks
Internal work involves lesson outlines, short presentations, peer feedback, and terminal examinations. Students keep a teaching file that records sample lesson plans, worksheets, and reflections under teacher supervision.
Final certification is based on NEB boards, with practical components scored as per the rules.
Outcomes and Pathways
After Grade 12, many students move into B.Ed with a chosen subject specialization. The stream also supports careers in community learning centers, early years support roles, and education services.
It builds habits of clarity, patience, and steady documentation—useful in both classrooms and administrative settings.
