Nepal Bank Limited Organizes Financial Literacy Program in Tamghas, Gulmi
Nepal Bank Limited Tamghas branch recently organized a financial literacy program in Tamghas, the headquarters of Gulmi district. The program aimed to impart financial knowledge and skills to young students, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the region.
Youth Targeted Program of Global Money Week
The program was part of the youth-targeted program of Global Money Week, a global initiative aimed at promoting financial education among the youth. Nepal Rastra Bank had instructed banks to organize programs during the week to raise awareness about the importance of financial education.
Informative Program for Class-12 Students
The program was conducted among the students of class-12 studying in Siddha Baba Secondary School. Head of Nepal Bank Tamghas branch, Narayan Prasad Kandel, provided information on financial literacy, the state of the financial system in Nepal, the bank's main tasks, financial discipline, and digital banking technology. Kandel also orientated the students on saving, loan agreement, payment, and precautions to be taken while using digital banking.

The principal of the school, Dorvikram Srees, appreciated the program and acknowledged that it provided important information about financial education to young students. Nepal Bank Tamghas branch representatives Sarita Panthi, Geeta Aryal, Kabil Pariyar, and others participated in the event.
