APF Inspector IQ Exam Schedule Published

The Public Service Commission, Examination Operation Branch, has published a notice setting the schedule for the Psychological Personality (IQ) examination for the post of Armed Police Inspector under the Armed Police Force Nepal in the General, Law, and Accounts subgroups.
According to the notice, the fourth phase written examination schedule has been published under the advertisement issued on December 19, 2025 (2082/09/04 BS).
Examination Schedule
According to Notice No. 1080/082-83, the examination for Armed Police Inspector (General Subgroup) under Advertisement No. 07/082-83 (Open and Inclusive) will be conducted on Friday, April 10, 2026 (2082/12/27 BS) from 9:00 AM.
The examination will be of 1 hour duration. A total of 371 candidates with roll numbers 1 to 502 will take part in the examination. The examination center has been assigned at Shree Vibrant Institute, Putalisadak, Kathmandu.
Similarly, the examinations for Armed Police Inspector (Law Subgroup) under Advertisement No. 09/082-83 (Open and Inclusive) and Armed Police Inspector (Accounts Subgroup) under Advertisement No. 10/082-83 (Open and Inclusive) will be conducted on Thursday, April 9, 2026 (2082/12/26 BS) at 9:00 AM.
Both of these examinations will be of 46 minutes duration and will be held at the Public Service Commission, Anamnagar.
Law Subgroup
Roll numbers 1001 to 1008, totaling 7 candidates, will appear in the examination.
Accounts Subgroup
Roll numbers 1501 to 1592, totaling 89 candidates, will appear in the examination.
Instructions for Candidates
The Commission has also clearly stated the rules that candidates must compulsorily follow.
Candidates must use only a dot pen or pen with black ink in the answer sheet.
No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination without an admit card. Therefore, candidates must bring their admit card and reach the examination building at least 1 hour before the examination begins.
Candidates must also compulsorily bring their citizenship certificate or any photo identity card issued by the Government of Nepal along with the admit card issued by the concerned authority.
Mobile phones and other electronic items are prohibited inside the examination building.
The notice also states that even if an unexpected public holiday falls on the examination day, the scheduled examination program will not be postponed without prior notice from the Commission.
