Machhapuchhre, Kaski, February 8, 2026 [2082 Magh 25] - Playwright Balakrishna Sama’s birth anniversary was observed. At a program organized on Saturday by Jarotuppo Conservation Literature Society Nepal, the microfiction collection “Santati” by fiction writer Dr Pushpa KC Bhandari was also unveiled.
Folk singer Haridevi Koirala, Nepal Academy Academician Narayan Marasini, Gandaki Press Registrar Bimala Bhandari, former Chancellor of the Gandaki Academy Surya Khadka “Bikharchee,” Gandaki Coordinator of Hamro Laghukatha Kendra Shubha Sharma, and Dr Narayanprasad Adhikari unveiled the book.
Koirala said that, in microfiction where the presence of women’s talent remains thin, Pushpa’s writing has become inspiring for everyone.

The book, published by Gandaki Hi-Tech, is priced at Rs 250. It includes 47 micro-stories.
