Endowment Fund Established at Sharda Secondary School

Endowment Fund of NPR 1.2 Million Established at Sharda Secondary School

Hile, Dhankuta, 2082 Magh 22. 

An endowment fund worth NPR 1.2 million has been established at Shree Sharda Secondary School located in Mahalaxmi Municipality-2, Dhankuta.

On the occasion of the school’s 63rd annual celebration, 13 donors contributed NPR 1,206,643 to establish the endowment fund.

For the Leela Bahadur Krishnamaya Katuwal Endowment Fund, Sitaram Katuwal and Bholanath Katuwal handed over NPR 225,555. For the Tarasi Manmaya Memorial Endowment Fund, Ganesh Katuwal handed over NPR 222,222. For the Tara Ganga Budhathoki Endowment Fund, Dhan Bahadur Budhathoki ‘Rabin’ handed over NPR 200,282.

Similarly, for the Prem Purna Bishnu Laya Endowment Fund, Bishnu Laya Magar handed over NPR 101,111. For the Bhim Lakh Prakriti and Khal Educational Improvement Endowment Fund, Mahalaxmi Municipality Ward No. 2 Chairperson and Chairperson of the same school’s Management Committee, Padam R. Khal Magar, handed over NPR 100,111 to the school, according to Principal Guru Baral.

Likewise, for the An Bahadur Telimaya Endowment Fund, Madan Rai and Bhumika Rai, and for the Bhed Bahadur Radhika Memorial Endowment Fund, Nar Bahadur Baniya Saman handed over NPR 55,555.

For the Kul Bahadur Devi Maya Memorial Endowment Fund, Jitmaya Karki and Begmaya Karki, and for the Rudra Bahadur Manmaya Endowment Fund, Dambar Bahadur Katuwal handed over NPR 51,111.

For the Jagat Bahadur Lilamaya Jhaptiman Katuwal Endowment Fund, Yogendra Katuwal handed over NPR 50,005. For the Pavitra Maya Bhim Maya and Kajiman Endowment Fund, Sobhita Man Katuwal handed over NPR 32,050. For the Tarabir Narmaya Thapa Endowment Fund, Rohitman Thapa handed over NPR 31,125. For the Lal Bahadur Nainmaya Endowment Fund, Mohan Shrestha and Sharmila Shrestha handed over NPR 31,001.

Chairperson of the School Management Committee, Padam Rakhal Magar, said the endowment fund will be used for scholarships for needy and hardworking students, educational improvement of the school, and areas including sports activities.

The school also celebrated its 63rd annual event by organizing various programs. These included a municipality-level inter-school dance competition, honoring former school management committee chairpersons and teachers, and awarding scholarships and prizes to students.

The event, held under the chief guestship of Mahalaxmi Municipality Mayor Dhruvaraj Raya, saw participation from students, guardians, and others.
