Krishna Pandey Sets World Record at MIT College Event
Kathmandu. At an event organized by the Model Institute of Technology (MIT), renowned memory expert and former Guinness World Records winner Krishna Pandey has set a new world record. Pandey created the record in the category “Fastest time to spell 50 words backwards,” completing the challenge in 51.66 seconds.
This historic event was held at the premises of KMC School in Bagbazar, Kathmandu. The program was organized in collaboration with Kathmandu Model Secondary School (KMC), with Best Western Plus as the hospitality partner.
Pandey completed the challenge by fully following all rules, regulations, and verification guidelines of Guinness World Records. The time of 51.66 seconds was stated to be significantly better than the benchmark set by Guinness World Records.
To ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with international standards, an official team of supervisors was assigned for the record attempt. The team included:

The program was held under the chairmanship of KMC Education Network Chairman Rameshwar Aryal, with National Assembly Member Dr. Shakya serving as the chief guest. The event saw participation of around 200 people, including principals from various institutions, education experts, media professionals, former ministers, and senior figures from the education sector.
Speaking on the occasion, MIT College Co-Founder R.K. Dahal stated that this Guinness World Records achievement reflects MIT’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and global recognition.
