Lungrupa Ayurveda Hospital collaborates with Phidim municipality to introduce Ayurveda and Yoga education in schools within the municipality. In their effort to promote wellness through traditional medicine and practices, the dispensary launched its first yoga training program at Kalika Mavi Babunga of Ward No. 11 on Thursday.
The program was attended by a total of 100 students and teachers from Kalika Secondary School, where they received training on the significance of Ayurveda and herbs, as well as yoga practice. The training was conducted by the head of Lungrupa Ayurveda Hospital Yoga Mahato and Hariprakash Subedi, the president of Patanjali Yoga Samiti Nepa Panchthar.
According to Mahato, the hospital plans to conduct similar training programs on Ayurveda and yoga education in various schools across Phidim municipality. This initiative aims to raise awareness and promote the benefits of traditional medicine and practices, which can help improve overall wellness and health. By introducing these teachings at a young age, students can learn to appreciate and adopt a holistic approach to wellness that can benefit them for years to come.
