Madhesh Agricultural University Conducts Entrance Exam for BSc Ag (Hons.) Program
Madhesh Agricultural University (MAU), established under the ordinance of the Madhesh State Government, conducted its entrance examination for the BSc Hons in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag. - Participation: A total of 143 students, including 72 female students, participated. These students hailed from all eight districts of Madesh and 10 other districts including Ramechhap and Sindhuli.
- Advertisement for Admission: MAU had advertised for new admissions on 6th November 2023.

- 10 merit quotas offering 100% Freeship.
- 9 reserved quotas for women, Dalits, tribal tribals, martyrs, conflict-affected, local, and staff.
- 31 open quotas.
- Course Duration and Cost: The B.Sc. Ag. Hons. program spans four years, divided into 8 semesters, with a total cost of 320,000.
University Infrastructure and Faculty:
- Building and Laboratory Development: Prof. Dr. Chaudhary Nagendra Yadav announced that a contract for constructing the university building has been awarded. Additionally, the establishment of a laboratory is underway.
- Faculty Strength: The university currently boasts 12 professors.
