Nai Academy Announces “Vijay Malla Nai Centenary Award” for Seven Scholars

On the occasion of the centenary celebration of playwright, fiction writer, and poet Vijay Malla, Nai Academy will confer the “Vijay Malla Nai Centenary Award” on seven creators/scholars from Nepal and India. Each award carries a cash prize of NPR 25,000.
The award has been announced in recognition of significant academic work by scholars who have dedicated themselves to studying Vijay Malla’s creative contributions and to PhD-level research.
The scholars to be honored with the “Vijay Malla Nai Centenary Award” are:

Member Secretary Narendra Raj Prasai said that the decision was made in a Nai Academy meeting chaired by Chancellor Indira Prasai.
