TU Issues 35-Day Notice to Verify Degree Equivalence

Tribhuvan University’s Curriculum Development Centre has sought clarification from two individuals regarding the equivalence of academic degrees obtained from Britts Imperial University College, United Arab Emirates.
Through a public notice, the Centre has instructed them to appear within 35 days with the required documents.
Individuals and qualification details
Ameer Kumar Sharma, a resident of Dhanusha District, Madhesh Province, and Om Prakash Bista, a resident of Jhapa District, Koshi Province, had obtained the degree of Masters of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from the said college.

Reason for the investigation and required submissions
The Centre has stated that questions have been raised regarding the legal status of the institution, and it has therefore moved forward with an investigation process.
The individuals have been informed to submit their statements and the following documents:

The required documents must be submitted to the Centre in Kirtipur within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice.
