Nepal Engineers Association to Provide Free Technical Support

Nepal Engineers Association, the umbrella organization of engineers across the country, will provide free technical assistance for the assessment and reconstruction of damaged physical structures.

General Secretary Binod Prakash Pandit issued a press release on Sunday, 2082 Bhadra 29, announcing that free technical support will be provided to assess and reconstruct the physical structures damaged during the recent protest movement.

The statement highlighted that Nepalese technical manpower made a significant contribution in rebuilding damaged structures after the earthquakes of 1990 BS and 2072 BS through their hard work, expertise, and skills, and expressed commitment to continue such contributions in the future.

Association President Subash Chandra Baral informed that, despite the current complex and difficult situation, preliminary inspection and evaluation of buildings belonging to the Supreme Court, Kathmandu District Court, and Nepal Bar Association have already begun.

According to President Baral, this campaign will include immediate site observation of damaged physical structures, risk assessment, usability testing, alternative management planning, and feasibility studies for reconstruction and evaluation.

He also called on all engineers to actively participate in this campaign.
