Nepali Student Anurag Pangenii Secures Third Place in 2025 International Youth Competition
Fifteen-year-old Nepali student Anurag Pangenii has secured third place in the 2025 International Youth Competition for Anti-Corruption Social Advertising.
The Russian Embassy has congratulated Pangenii for achieving third place in the international competition “Together Against Corruption” under the theme “Fix the Cracks in Youth Society.” He placed third in the 10 to 15 age group category.
The Russian Embassy stated that Anurag’s poster was one of the notable international entries for its strong message and creative expression promoting honesty, accountability, and social responsibility among young people. It also described his work as a meaningful contribution to the global fight against corruption and an inspiring example of youth-led social engagement.
Anurag explained that his poster portrays Nepali society as a fragile glass structure weakened by corruption. He said the firewood mixed with money symbolically represents greed and dishonesty, while also showing how corruption can put young people’s opportunities at risk. However, he emphasized that the real message of his poster is hope.
In the competition, Algeria’s Fatima Rawan (14) secured first place, while Uzbekistan’s Sokhzhakhon Abdullaiev (14) placed second. Along with Pangenii, Pakistan’s Sadia Jafar (14) also achieved third place.
