Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) has celebrated its ninth anniversary with various programs, outlining its priorities for academic development, quality improvement, and institutional reforms.

Marking the completion of nine years since its establishment and its entry into the tenth year, the university announced its major priorities and reform plans for the coming years.

The anniversary program began with the hoisting of the national flag and the university flag by Registrar Dr. Jeevan Kafle. On the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar issued a joint anniversary message, expressing their commitment to making the university more dynamic and effective.

Major Priorities and Reforms Announced During the Anniversary

The university outlined several initiatives aimed at strengthening its academic, administrative, and physical infrastructure.

- Introduction of a Learning Management System (LMS): The university announced plans to bring all its academic, administrative, examination, and accounting systems under a centralized Learning Management System (LMS). The proposed digital system is expected to make university services more accessible to students through online platforms.

- Infrastructure and Laboratory Development: Priority will be given to ensuring the effective operation of the School of Health Sciences, accelerating stalled infrastructure construction projects, and upgrading laboratories with modern technology.

- Curriculum Improvement: The university expressed its commitment to updating its curricula in response to the needs of Madhesh Province and the job market. The revisions will focus on producing ethical, technically skilled, and innovative human resources.

- Administrative Efficiency: The university pledged to address administrative delays and irregularities while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of its administrative and academic operations.

Unlike previous celebrations that followed a traditional format, this year's anniversary placed greater emphasis on administrative, academic, and infrastructure reforms.

University deans, professors, staff members, and students attended the anniversary program.
