STEAM Materials Creation Competition for University Students in Nepal

The Government of Nepal's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced an exciting opportunity for university students: a competition to create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning materials. This initiative is a part of the ministry's annual program for the year 2080/081. It focuses on enhancing educational resources for secondary school students in classes 5-10.

Competition Structure and Participation

  • Phase One: University student groups are invited to submit applications showcasing their innovative ideas for STEAM learning materials.
  • Phase Two: After reviewing the applications, selected groups will progress to the next stage, where they will develop their proposed materials. Each group will be given four months for this creative process.
  • Funding and Support: Groups reaching the second phase will receive funding as per the 'Procedures for Conducting University Level Competitive Programs, 2080'.
  • Application Process: Interested students must submit their applications within thirty days from the date of this notice’s publication. Applications can be sent physically to the Ministry at Singh Durbar, Kathmandu, or via email to [email protected], following the specified format and including all necessary documentation.
  • Deadline and Requirements: Submissions must be made before the deadline. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
