Nari Srishta Samaj Honors Women Creators in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, March 2, 2026 [2082 Falgun 18 (BS)]

Nari Srishta Samaj honored women creators on the eve of Women’s Day. The program was chaired by Mamata Mridul, with Prof. Dr. Sabitri Kakshapati as the chief guest and Manjushree Pradhan as the special guest.

Under Nari Srishta Samman 2082, the following were honored:

  • Aastha Mishra (child creator)

Immediately after the honor program, “Debate on Micro-Story with Mamata Mridul, Chapter 6” began. In Chapter 6, ten micro-story writers recited micro-stories by Ranjana Parajuli Lamsal.

Distinguished guest Bidhan Acharya spoke about the recited micro-stories. Chief guest Tulsihari Koirala said the debate program has carried out important work in the field of micro-stories.

Dhyanabhinaya Parivar staged a play titled “Mahango Chanda” by Ranjana Parajuli Lamsal. The program, hosted by Mamata Mridul, concluded in one hour and fifteen minutes.
