Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has recently issued a very urgent notice regarding the application form for the entrance examination for the special technical education scholarship program. This program is specifically designed for underprivileged, Dalit, and Muslim communities who wish to pursue technical education. The scholarship provides free study for 160 students at the pre-diploma level and 400 students at the diploma/certificate level.

The program is based on the provisions of the budget and programs of the Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2079/080. To maintain the regional balance, fixed quotas have been set for the selection of candidates at the pre-diploma and diploma/certificate levels. The entrance examination will be conducted to select the most deserving candidates for the scholarship.

Eligible Nepali citizens are invited to fill the free application form for the entrance examination. The target category includes 160 students from underprivileged, Dalit and Muslim communities at the pre-diploma level and 400 students from underprivileged, Dalit and Muslim communities at the diploma/certificate level. Candidates must provide necessary documents to prove their eligibility, such as certificates issued by the concerned commission, district administration office or municipality.

The disadvantaged groups listed by the Government of Nepal, including Halia, Kamaiya, disabled, conflict victims/martyrs/people's movement injured families, and 22 tribal groups: Bankaria, Baram, Bote, Chepang, Danuwar, Dhanuk, Hayu, Jhagad, Kisan, Kusunda, Lepcha, Majhi, Meche, Kuswadia, Raji, Raute, Satar, Sinsa, Siar, Surel, Thami, and Thunam, are allowed to participate in the disadvantaged quota based on documents certified by local bodies as economically disadvantaged.

The educational program, number of quotas and educational institutions are yet to be announced. However, interested candidates are advised to keep an eye on the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office's website for further updates.

This is an excellent opportunity for underprivileged, Dalit and Muslim communities to pursue technical education without any financial burden. Eligible candidates are encouraged to fill the application form before the deadline and prepare themselves for the entrance examination.

  • Look for the notification related to the scholarship program and click on it to read the details.

  • Check the eligibility criteria and make sure you meet all the requirements.

  • Download the free application form from the website.

  • Fill out the application form with all the necessary details and attach the required documents.

  • Submit the completed application form along with the required documents to the designated office within the given deadline.

  • Wait for the announcement of the examination date and prepare yourself accordingly.

  • Once the examination is conducted, wait for the final result to be announced.
