Local Government Services at Aathabis Municipality

The office of Aathabis Municipality (आठबीस नगरपालिका) is located at Rakam Karnali in Dailekh District, Karnali Province, Nepal. Aathabis Nagarpalika is a local government unit established in 2017 under Nepal’s federal restructuring process.

The municipality provides local-level administrative and public services within its jurisdiction. Its major service areas include vital event registration, such as birth, death, marriage, migration, and divorce registration; basic and secondary education; youth and sports; agriculture and livestock development; forestry and local resource management; local infrastructure and development projects; road and transportation coordination; water resources and irrigation; urban planning; social security distribution; tax collection; communication and information technology; health and population services; and social welfare-related coordination.

Aathabis Municipality also works on the use of local resources, community development, and the delivery of public services through its ward offices and municipal administration.
