Eligibility Criteria for APF Jawan Position

The Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal, has set the following minimum qualifications for the APF Jawan post:

Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not more than 22 years as of the date of publication of the advertisement. This translates to birth dates between 2058/03/29 and 2062/03/29.
Educational Requirement: Candidates should have passed at least the 8th standard.
Physical Requirements:
- For men: Chest size of at least 30 inches uninflated and 32 inches when inflated. Minimum height of five feet two inches and a weight of at least 50 kg.
- For women: Minimum height of five feet and a weight of at least 42 kg.
Citizenship: Applicants should possess a valid Nepalese citizenship certificate.
Health Status: Candidates should have obtained a health certificate from an approved physician appointed by the Head Office. (Note: This will be conducted during the examination.)
Character Verification: Applicants should provide a good character recommendation from the educational institution they attended and two other non-relative persons from the Government of Nepal, signed by an incumbent gazetted officer.

Political Affiliations: At the time of application, the applicant should not be a member of a political party or a terrorist organization.
Previous Employment Status: Candidates should not have been dismissed from employment in a manner that disqualifies them for future government service.

Application Fee for the APF Jawan Position

The application fee for the APF Jawan position is Rs. 150. For candidates applying from the inclusive groups, an additional 20% of the examination fee per group (Rs. 30) will be charged. If you apply during the extended application window, a double fee will be required.

They should bring the gross receipt of the revenue deposit, good character recommendations, a Rs.10 stamp, and all required documents. If any document is missing or the candidate doesn't show up, the application will be cancelled.
Examination Stages: Applicants must bring their admit card and copy of citizenship to each examination stage. Only candidates who pass each stage will advance to the next one. The results will be published after each stage.
