Notification of Staffing Requirements: The Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) Project, the first phase of the Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project is being run under a bilateral agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Swiss Government. This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, relevant provincial ministries (Province One and Madhes Province), and local governments. This project is being run with the financial support of the Swiss government development aid SDC and the technical support of Helvetas Nepal. In this regard, Helvetas Nepal invites applications from interested Nepali citizens who have qualified for the post as per the details.
Post: Driver (1 person)
Purpose of work:
Taking full responsibility for the safety of employee (passenger) vehicles and other materials, driving the vehicle according to the schedule, being responsible for the care and maintenance of the vehicle, providing all possible assistance to the employees during the field trip and during the trip, and assisting in other office tasks as needed.
Required Minimum Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Passed at least 10th grade, at least 3 years of driving experience in various hilly and plain areas, light vehicle (four-wheeler driver's license obtained, eye examination by a doctor and a certificate of being able to drive a vehicle, caste, and gender) Sensitive to the subject and able to work easily in groups with different cultural identities, able to write and speak Nepali and simple English.
Work Place: Regional/Field Office of Remi Project, Janakpur
Tenure: 3 years (extendable)
Salary and Benefits: As per Helvetas Nepal rules
