VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: ENSSURE II, is a bilateral initiative of Governments of Nepal and Switzerland. It seeks to help Nepalese youths, women, and men, gain social and economic benefits from a federalized TVET system. To the end, the project has been supporting 3 spheres of government to deliver TVET functions as per their constitutional mandate. The project is being implemented by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) at the federal level, by the Ministry of Social Development at the provincial level, and by municipalities within these provinces atthe local level with technical support from Helvetas Nepal. Building on the experience of phase 1, the project has been supporting the governments to scale up and institutionalize work-based learning, which includes Dual VET- Apprenticeship, Training with OJT, and Workers' Further Training. Besides, the project has been providing career guidance to youths and students in grades 9 and 10. The project is being implemented in Province 1, Bagmati Province, and Lumbini Province.

Position: Technical Officer
Job Purpose: Technical officer is responsible for:
- Orient PG/ LGs on the Dual VETtraining approach and institutionalize the approach;
- Provide technical support to PG/LGs to plan, procure, implement, and monitor training programs with close coordination with the Technical Coordinator-TVET;
- Support in establishing TVET systems especially in developing necessary manuals, guidelines, and tools for PG/ Lgs;
- Support PG/LGs to implement directives/guidelines, manuals, and IEC materials for an apprenticeship, training with OJT and worker's further training effectively.
Required Education, Experience, and Social Competence:
- Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Science, Business Management or in any relevant discipline. At least 3 years of working experience in the field of TVET. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction is a must.
- Driving skills (two-wheelers) with a valid driving license is compulsory.
Duty Station: Bagmati Province (Hetauda office).
Duration: Till 15 July 2025.
