Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) Vacancy for Various Positions:

The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) was established to support the Government of Nepal and Partner Organisations (POs) with coordination of the post-earthquake housing reconstruction led by the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA). The HRRP is currently led by CRS Nepal and has been approved for its fourth phase.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:

1. Hub Team- Technical Coordinator (1 Position-Based in any 32 Earthquake affected District):

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Architecture Engineering. Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, experience in housing reconstruction is plus. Knowledge of Nepal building codes, government structures, and operations mechanics, standards, urban development, and prevailing civil engineering principles and practices and coordination is preferred. Experience with humanitarian recovery and reconstruction programs and with coordinating and liaising with various organizations and the government entities and with technical background is a plus. Experience working in I/NGO is added assets.

2. Hub Team-Information Management Officer (1 Position- Based in Dhading):

Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field, Information Management is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar field. Experience in field data and information management in emergency response and recovery operation is an advantage. Experience in In/NGO is preferred. Proficient in web designing and desktop publishing along with data management and reporting through MS packages are encouraged to apply.

3. Urban Coordination Officer (1 position- based in Kathmandu):

Master's degree or any other equivalent degree in Civil engineering, Urban Planning, Social studies, Disaster management or political science. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in similar roles with I/NGO in emergency response or recovery programming. Must have research experiences and content and report writing skills. Must have experience with municipal by-laws, reconstruction procedures, and practices in Nepal and experience in maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including legal institutes, local governments. Experience working in urban recovery in similar roles is a plus.
