Position: Senior Health Project Officer for the Canadian Red Cross
Qualification: Master's degree in Public Health and a bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in health project management Responsibilities: The Senior Health Project Officer will support the Health Programme
Manager and the Nepal Red Cross Society in implementation, monitoring and reporting of the Rural Emergency and Trauma Systems Strengthening (RETSS) Project as per project documents; log frame; budget, action plans; Nepal Red Cross Society, Consortium policies; national guidelines and donor requirements.
The Senior Health Project Officer will provide technical support and actively work jointly with Nepal Red Cross Society to achieve the project goals to improve the health and well-being of emergency and trauma patients by increasing the quality of emergency health services in health facilities and through increased evidenced-based advocacy for enhanced emergency and trauma interventions.
The Senior Health Project Officer will work with the Canadian Red Cross Nepal Office until March 31, 2020, and reports to Health Programme Manager of the Canadian Red Cross Nepal Office. From 01st April 2020, this position will be under the Consortium. In the consortium, The Senior Health Project Officer will report to the Health Programme Manager of Country Consortium.
