The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) has an exciting opportunity for a Research Officer - Policy and Water Governance to work on various projects within and outside Nepal to contribute to research activities from policy, water governance and political economy perspectives in the context of federalism in Nepal.

Position: Research Officer - Policy and Miler Governance, Kathmandu, Nepal

The selected candidate will be part of the research team during fieldwork, participating in social science research activities, in the thematic issues such as policy, institutions, water governance, rural livelihoods, and gender equality and social inclusion issues.

We seek candidates with a master's degree in development studies or a related social science discipline, or agriculture, water resources management or agricultural engineering with specialization in social science approaches; and at least 2 years of experience in development and/or research project management in the fields of natural resources management and rural development or research.
