Government of Nepal (GoN), Ministry of Defense, Nepali Army, Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh Fast Track (Expressway) Road Project Call for expression of interest for the establishment of a Panel of Experts (National) for the Kathmandu-Teral/Madhesh Fasttrack (Expressway) Road Project

Under the management of Nepali Army, Construction of Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh Fait Track (Expressway) Road (KTFT) is underway as well as Detail Engineering Design of various aspects of the projects are being executed simultaneously.

Thus, KTFT project intends to receive the services of under mentioned Experts/Specialiits, experienced in the planning and design of various aspects of Highway/Expressway for Expert's Review (ER) on the Design, Drawing, Specification and Bidding Document.

The main objective of the panel of experts would be to review ongoing and upcoming works and recommend the KTFT Road Project for achieving quality work and complete the works within stipulated time frame.

Interested Experts/Specialists are invited to submit application along with their Curriculum Vitae, supporting documents mentioning expected remuneration, facilities to be provided, availability (hourly/ daily/weekly/monthly) and other conditions of engagement to perform the services within 15 days from the first date of publication by email or hard copy mentioned below.

Expert	Minimum Qualification and Experience
Highway Design	Mailer's Degree in Civil Engineering/Highway Engineering/Transportation Engineering or Equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in Highway design and construction
Pavement Design	Mas'ter's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Highway Engineering Transportation Engineering or Equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in design and construction Supervision of Highway Pavement (Flexible and Rigid).
Senior Surveyor	Required: Bachelor's Degree in Surveying / Geomatics / Civil Engineering or equivalent. Preferable: Mailer's degree in Surveying /Geomatics / Civil Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 20 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 10 years' experience as Senior Surveyor on major highway or hydropower projects.
Geotechnical/ Slope Stabilization and Reinforced Earth (RE) wall	Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in design and construction supervision of different structures such as Reinforced Earth walls (RE walls) and slope protection works, preferably in highway projects.
Tunnel/ Geotechnical	Mailer's Degree in Tunnel Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience in Detailed Engineering design and construction supervision of Road/ Hydro Tunnel and at leasi 7 years of experience as Tunnel Engineer including at leait 2 years of experience in NATM execution works, preferably in highway projects.
Hydraulics/ Water Resources	Maiter's Degree in Hydraulic/Water resource Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in design and construction supervision of hydraulic structure for river training works, protection works and cross drainage structures in highway or other projects.
Structural Engineering (Bridge)	Mailer's Degree in Bridge Engineering/ Structural Engineering/ Earthquake Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in Design and construction supervision of bridges.
Engineering Geologist	Mailer's Degree in Geology/ Applied Geology Engineering Geology or equivalent. Minimum of 20 years of professional experience in construction projects, geological, engineering geological and geophysical investigations works, slope stabilization and tunneling and underground excavation works with 10 years of experience in design and construction supervision of slope protection works in highway projects.
Contract Management	Mailer's degree in Engineering Management/ Contract Management/ Transportation Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of overall experience as contract related works, 10 years of experience in construction contract management in large scale projects managed under the FIDIC contract with experience in management of international Consultants/Contractor.
Arbitrator	Mailer's Degree in Law/ Engineering/ Management, or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience and 10 years of experience in claims management, arbitration and litigation. Should have experience as Arbitrator/ DB member in at least 3 ICB projects.
Control/ Material Engineer	Mailer's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering/ Transportation Engineering/ Highway Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years' experience as Quality Control Engineer/ Material Engineer in highway construction projects.
Environmental	Mailer's Degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience as Environmental/ Disaiter Reduction Management in construction projects, natural resources management and Environmental Monitoring and Reporting works.
Sociologist	Master's Degree in Sociology or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience withl0 years of experience in conducting fieldwork and analysis for community issues along the road corridor.
Non-life Insurance Adviser	Master's Degree in Economics/ Management / Engineering or Equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in insurance of ICB Contracts having knowledge of reinsurance, analysis of but not limited to CAR, PI and GPA policy in works, plants, and equipment risks claims.
Electrical Engineer (Transmission and diitribution System)	Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in Energy projects including transmission line and distribution system with emergency back-up power systems. Familiar with ducts construction for optical fiber, and underground cable works for street light systems in Highways.
Communication Engineer (Optical Fiber)	Matters' Degree in Electronics and Communications/ Electrical/ Information and Communication Syitem Engineering/ Telecommunication or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience in communication and 10 years of experience in Optical Fiber Communication Projects including Optical Fiber Transmission Project along road corridors or a related field.
Bio Engineering	Master's Degree in Civil Engineering/ Highway Engineering/ Geotechnical Engineering/ Transportation Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 20 years of professional experience with 10 years of experience in design and construction of bioengineering related works in highway projects.
