Lamkichuha Municipality Announces Recruitment for City Police on Contractual Basis
Lamkichuha Municipality in Bhalka, Kailali, Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal, has released a notification inviting applications for several positions within the city police on a contractual basis. This initiative aims to strengthen local law enforcement and ensure public safety.
Positions Open for Application:
- Sub-Inspector of City Police: 1 Position
- City Police Hawaldar: 3 Positions
- City Police Jawan: 11 Positions

- Application Fees:
- Sub-Inspector: Rs. 500
- City Police Hawaldar: Rs. 400
- City Police Jawan: Rs. 300
- Additional Rs. 150 for each group for candidates applying in more than one category.

- Application Submission: From 2080/12/18 to 2081/01/02, within office hours, excluding public holidays.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18 to 24 years for general candidates; up to 45 years for ex-Nepal Police, Armed Police, and Nepali Army personnel.
- Educational Qualification:
- Sub-Inspector: Proficiency Certificate level or equivalent, with prior service in Nepal Police, Armed Police, or Nepal Army.
- City Police Hawaldar and Jawan: Minimum SLC or equivalent; class eight for certain positions.
- Physical Requirements:
- Male: Minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches, chest size of 31-33 inches, and weight of 50 kg.
- Female: Minimum height of 5 feet and weight of 42 kg.
- Vision: Not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2, with a health certificate from a government-approved doctor.
Selection Process:
Candidates will undergo a physical fitness test, a written examination, and an interview to qualify for the positions.
Documentation Required:
Applicants must attach copies of their citizenship certificate, academic qualifications, character certificate, and relevant experience documents, along with three passport-size photographs. Special documentation is required for candidates applying under inclusive categories.
Special Notes for Inclusive Group Applicants:
Candidates applying for posts reserved for indigenous tribes, Tharu, and Dalits must provide specific documents verifying their caste or tribe, as detailed in the notification.
