Nepal Police Headquarters has published a recruitment notice for vacant posts under various sub-groups of the Technical Police Group.
Applications are invited from eligible Nepali citizens to fill these posts through open competition in accordance with inclusive provisions.
Candidates applying for the posts of Technical Police Deputy Superintendent, Technical Police Inspector, Technical Police Sub-Inspector, and Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector must submit their applications online through Nepal Police’s Online Recruitment Management System (ORMS).

Technical Police Deputy Superintendent: Rs. 2,000 through online application submission. For candidates applying in more than one group, an additional 20 percent fee, that is Rs. 400 per group, will apply.

Note:

For non-gazetted police personnel participating in the open competition for the posts of Technical Police Inspector, Technical Police Sub-Inspector, and Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector, the age must not exceed 35 years and the candidate must have completed basic training.

For incumbent non-classified police personnel, the age must not exceed 26 years as per Rule 40 of the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments).
Minimum Qualifications
General Qualifications for Technical Police Deputy Superintendent, Inspector, SI, and ASI

Criminal Record: Must not have been convicted in any criminal case involving moral turpitude.
-
Human Rights Record: Must not have been punished for violation of human rights or humanitarian law.
-
Political Affiliation: Must not be a member of a political party.
-
Organizational Affiliation: Must not be a member of a terrorist organization.
-
Physical Standard for Men: Minimum height 5 feet 2 inches, chest 31–33 inches, weight 50 kg.
-
Physical Standard for Women: Minimum height 5 feet, minimum weight 42 kg.
-
Eyesight: Must not be weaker than minus 2 or plus 2.
-
Medical Fitness: Must obtain a health fitness certificate from an approved physician designated by Nepal Police Headquarters during the examination process.

Citizenship: Must be a Nepali citizen.
General Qualifications for Technical Police Constable

Service Record: Must not have been dismissed from service in a way that generally disqualifies a person from future government employment.

Other Qualifications: Must fulfill the other qualifications specified for Technical Police Deputy Superintendent to Technical Police Assistant Sub-Inspector under items (a) and (c) to (j).
Information Technology Directorate

Technical Police Inspector (Information Technology/Computer): Must have passed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering in the related subject from a recognized educational institution, such as Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, IT Engineering, or equivalent, and be registered with the related council; or must have passed a bachelor’s degree in the related field such as BSc CSIT, BIT, BCA, or equivalent, and received a 6-month certified training in the related subject from a recognized institution.

Technical Police Sub-Inspector (Information Technology/Computer): Must have completed a Diploma in Engineering in the related subject from a recognized educational institution.

Educational Documents: Certificates of educational qualifications obtained, including character certificate, permanent or provisional certificate, transcript or mark sheet for each level, and in the case of study outside Nepal, equivalency certificate from the competent authority.

Martyr or Disabled Police Family Category: Documents confirming that the applicant belongs to a martyr or disabled police family, or documents certified by the Government of Nepal.

Indigenous Nationalities Category: Documents as prescribed under the relevant legal and administrative provisions.

Madhesi Category: Certificate from the institution specified by the Government of Nepal through publication in the Nepal Gazette; until such an institution is specified, a certificate from the Chief District Officer on the recommendation of the head of the relevant local body.

Dalit Category: Documents based on the National Dalit Commission list and other required certification where applicable.

Backward Area Category: Original recommendation letter confirming permanent residence in Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu, or Humla, along with citizenship from the same district and certification of permanent residence from the relevant local body.

Self-Certification for Technical Police Constable Applicants: On the back side of copied documents attached with the application form, the candidate must sign the statement that the copy is correct as per the original.
Note: Candidates applying online must scan the original copies of the required documents and upload them in PDF format as prescribed in the ORMS system. Candidates must also upload their photograph, signature, right and left thumb impressions, and the front and back of the citizenship certificate in JPG format.

Registration: Visit https://careers.nepalpolice.gov.np, complete registration, log in using the received username and password, fill in all required details, upload clear scanned copies of all required documents, and submit the application only after the profile is 100 percent complete.

Fee Payment: After submitting the online application form, the required fee corresponding to the Application ID may be paid online through the government payment portal using Connect IPS, e-Sewa, Khalti, or IME Pay.

Voucher Deposit Option: The voucher with the transaction code may be downloaded and deposited at the concerned bank having the revenue account for the relevant application collection center.

Notice Date: Information regarding the schedule for preliminary health examination and physical fitness test will be published on 2083/01/19 at the concerned police offices where the application form is registered, and the same notice will also be placed on the Nepal Police website www.nepalpolice.gov.np.
Special Notice Related to the Advertisement
As per the order issued on 2083/10/24 by the Honorable Supreme Court in petitions including Writ No. 078-WO-0662, in which Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal, Kathmandu and others are respondents, after the necessary legal arrangement regarding the inclusive group is made, among the total posts that are maintained, the matter of compensation for the loss that occurred in fiscal year 2079/80, including the posts actually filled on the basis of merit from the inclusive group according to the required ratio, shall be managed in accordance with the legal provision. For the present, this notice has been published to fill the posts according to the prevailing law.

Non-Refundable Fee: If an application is not approved or the application form is canceled because the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled, the application fee will not be refunded.

Stage-Wise Results: Results will be published after the completion of each stage of the examination, and only successful candidates will be allowed to participate in the next stage.

Additional Vacancies: As per Sub-rule 5 of Rule 13 of the Police Regulations, 2071 with amendments, if additional vacancies arise after publication of the advertisement by the Recruitment Committee and before publication of the written examination result, those numbers may also be added by publishing a public notice.

Open and Inclusive Competition: During the examination, the same examination will be conducted for both open and inclusive groups, and candidates under the inclusive group will compete separately among themselves on the basis of the marks they obtain.

Application Cancellation: Application forms that do not fulfill the prescribed conditions may be canceled at any time.

Documents at Each Stage: Candidates must carry the admit card and the original citizenship certificate when appearing in each stage of the examination.

Compulsory Upload: When submitting the online application, original scanned copies of the required certificates must be uploaded compulsorily. The candidate will be personally responsible for the certificates submitted.

Grounds for Cancellation: Applications not submitted within the prescribed time, not meeting the conditions, filled improperly, or submitted without payment of the application fee may be canceled at any time.

Record Update: Among candidates who submitted applications through the ORMS system within the application period, if required details and documents are incomplete, a notice will be published on the Nepal Police website for record update. Candidates who do not update the missing documents within the specified time will have their application form automatically canceled.

Documents at Interview: When coming for the interview, the candidate must bring the original required certificates and documents mentioned in the application, along with self-certified copies stating that the copy is correct as per the original.

Single Center Rule: The applicant must register the application form from only one center. If duplicate registration is found, the application form will be canceled.

Personal Presence: When submitting the application, the candidate must appear in person with the original certificates.

Form Download: The application form can be downloaded from the Nepal Police website www.nepalpolice.gov.np and submitted to the designated office with the required documents attached.
