Located east of Kathmandu, Okhaldhunga Community Hospital (OCH) is a vital healthcare facility offering comprehensive medical services. It's accessible by a day's journey from Kathmandu. This 50-bed rural hospital provides a wide range of services, including general medicine and surgery, orthopaedics, paediatrics, dentistry, obstetrics, and gynaecology.

OCH operates a 24/7 Emergency Room and serves as a referral centre for health posts in the district and surrounding areas. It frequently handles cases related to traumatic fractures, road accidents, and general trauma.

Position: Health Assistant [HA] (Emergency Room & Outpatients Department)

• Vacancy: 1 Position
• Main Role:
  • Act as a key member of the Emergency Room team, delivering urgent care to patients.
  • Engage in the 24-hour Emergency Room duty roster.
  • Occasionally work in the Outpatient Department for diverse clinical experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a Proficiency Certificate Level in General Medicine (Health Assistant), recognized by CTEVT Nepal.
• Both fresh graduates and individuals with 1-2 years of experience as a hospital-based paramedic in emergency settings are encouraged to apply.
