Samagra Jan-Utthan Kendra (SAMAGRA) is an autonomous organization working continuously on Human rights, Peace, Security & Justice, Community Development, Community Mediation, Gender transformation, Media advocacy, Youth & Women empowerment sector since 2002 in Siraha and other districts of province no. 2. SAMARA has gone to implementing of SAHAJProject with consortium lead partner `VSO'. SAHAJ is a 25-month project funded through DFID's Integrated Programme to Strengthen Security and Justice (IPS SJ) in Nepal. SAHAJ Project has implemented in Saptari, Sir aha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi & tiara districts in province no. 2 since January 2019.

We seek to recruit the following two positions under SAHAJProject in Samagra

1. Program Officer (PO) —1 position: (Based in Dhanusha & Mahottari-1)         

Duty Station: Janakpur, Dhanusha

Period — February to November 2020 (possible extension basis of work performance and project extension)

Role Overview: Responsible for the implementation of project activities and reporting to Project Manager on time. Prepare the project action plan and coordinate with Palika's facilitators, local government stakeholders and beneficiary of the project target community. Analysis of the security and justice situation of working districts and reporting to Project Manager on a monthly and quarterly basis. Support to other consortium partners staff, so­cial mobilizers and implementing SAHA.). project activities on time. Will be responsible for coordination with provincial stakeholders and local government, project activities planning and implementation in respectable Palikas with close coordination with Project Manager:

Required Education, Experience & Social Competence:

Bachelor's degree in social science (preference will be given in the field of gender. and social studies and Law) at least 3 years' Experience of planning and implementing projects activities in gender equality mainly gender-based violence (GBV) with Security and Justice service providers and multi-stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts.
