Position: Senior Technical Advisor - HIV

Required No.(s): 1 (One)

Term & Location: Fixed term; based in Kathmandu, Country Office

Brief Description:

  • Will provide overall technical leadership and strategic direction for Save the Children in all its HIV programs.
  • S/he will technically lead the designing and monitoring of the HIV programs to achieve programmatic goals while ensuring that programs are implemented in accordance with standard protocols, guidelines, and procedures.
  • S/he will coordinate the program team to assess the technical gaps, and develop the technical competence of HIV program staff, Service Delivery Points (SDPs), and Sub-recipients (SRs)

Eligibility

  • Master's degree in Public Health with MBBS. Candidate with PhD (preferred) and minimum 7 years' (5 years for GSI group*) working experience in Public Health Program in Nepal. Preference will be given to person with prior experience on HIV program

*GSI group: Women, Dalit, Madhesi, People with Disabilities, and other indigenous/minorities.
