Shailung Construction Pvt. Ltd. Manbhawan, Kathmandu, Nepal invites job application for Accounting Departmet. The interested and eligible candidates may apply within the stipulated deadline as follows.

1. Job Title: Manager - Accounts and Finance (1)

Job Description:

  • Providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions
  • Directing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
  • Cost controlling, insurance requirement, taxation & auditing
  • Lead the department by monitoring and analyzing departments work to develop and implement more efficient procedures and use of resources. Deal with the regulatory body regarding tax and legal matters. as & when required
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies

Qualification & skills:

  • CA or MBA in business, finance, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and financial management practices
  • Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. tally)
  • Excellent communication and people skills and a good team player
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

2. Job Title: Senior Executive - Accounts (2)

Job Description:

  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports
  • Handles transactions related to Accounts
  • Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of Nepal's VAT, TDS, and Income Tax Acts and regulations.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups

Qualification:

  • Master's Degree in Management (preferred in Finance and/or Accounts specialization)
  • 2+ year work experience in accounts field & Tally and/or other accounting software

Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS office package. Proficient user of excel.

3. Job Title: Junior Executive - Accounts (2)

Job Description:

  • Ensure every transaction is recorded in accounting software (Tally and
  • Swastik) and accounting records are maintained properly.
  • Process utilities, rent, and other payments for the office on time.
  • Calculate and process salary payments.
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of Nepal's VAT, TDS, and Income Tax Acts and regulations.
  • File & pay taxes for the Nepal office.
  • Liaise with third parties (banks, vendors, tax office, and others) to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist and ensure bank accounts, retirement fund accounts, and PAN are registered for new employees.
  • Maintain the office's asset register and purchase register to adhere to Nepal accounting standards.
  • Monitor expenses to ensure they are within an approved budget
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic and year-end financial reports for Nepal.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on the payments.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management (preferred in Finance and/or Accounts specialization)
  • MBA with Finance and/or Accounts Specialization (Preferred)
  • 1+ year work experience in accounts field & Tally and/or other accounting software

Skills:

  • Good report writing abilities
  • Excellent Excel skills including pivot tables, graphs and data analysis
