Programme: Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme (MLRBP-IV)

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is providing Technical Assistance (TA) to the Government of Nepal (GoN) for the implementation of the Motorable Local Roads Bridge Programme, Phase-IV in all 7 provinces.

CIAS-MEH JV, on behalf of the SDC, provides TA through the Local Roads Bridge Support Unit (LRBSU), and invites applications from interested and qualified Nepali nationals for the following positions:

1. Position: Administration and Human Resources Officer

   • Number Required: (1) – Female only
   • Term & Location: Fixed term till June 2025, based in Kathmandu
   • Brief Job Description: Facilitate the smooth operation of the project by ensuring all necessary administration and Human Resources related tasks, manage staff timesheet, leave, travel, ensure mandatory documents are in personnel file, manage office logistic, assets and insurance, Maintain and update the inventory of overall assets of LRBSU.
   • Key Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Management/Business Studies with 5 years’ experience or Master's Degree with 3 years’ experience or in a related field

2. Position: Administration and Procurement Officer

   • Number Required: (1)
   • Term & Location: Fixed term till June 2025, based in Kathmandu
   • Brief Job Description: Timely procure required goods/services, manage local and international procurement, prepare bidding documents, initiate action and scrap process, coordinate meetings/travels and administrative tasks
   • Key Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 5 years or Master's degree with 3 years relevant experience and having knowledge of the laws governing procurement by the government or public institution.

3. Position: Driver

   • Number Required: (1)
   • Term & Location: Fixed term till June 2025, based in Kathmandu
   • Brief Job Description: Responsible for the maintenance including quality of works, security of vehicles, preparing expense reports related to vehicle operations and maintaining required vehicle log books, ensure punctual transportation of staff, documents and products
   • Key Qualifications Requirements: 10 class pass with 5 years' experience having Valid Driving License for 4 wheel Vehicle, Vehicle Mechanic Training certificate, able to communicate/text SMS
