World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development, and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following positions:

1. Position: Health Officer (One)

based in West Field Office, Kailali

Key Responsibilities: The purpose of the Health Officer's role will be to implement the PNS KISHORI project in Kailali. S/he is specifically responsible for local level coordination with stakeholders, planning, organizing and facilitating events, leading major training events, adequate tracking of project implementation, reporting & documentation of project !earnings related to Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM). S/he will work on the development of relevant IEC/BCC materials.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience required: Bachelors' Degree in Public Health or related field with at least 1-2 years working in public health projects. Master Degree in Public Health or related field is preferred. Must have good knowledge of community-based health projects. Must have knowledge of menstrual hygiene management and ASRH (Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health). Must have experience in using logical frameworks and project monitoring and specific experience in the western Region particularly in the public health sector. Knowledge and skills for conduction research and studies in the areas of ASRH and MHM including data management are preferred.

Core competencies for the position: The candidate must have good communication skills with proven English language fluency (written and verbal) along with excellent analytical skills; Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including use of Microsoft Office Packages; Willing to work under pressure and exhibit a high level of flexibility; Hold a high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently; Must be strategic, creative, and innovative with decision making and problem-solving skills.
