VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: World Vision is a child focused relief, development and advocacy organization that has contributed to transformation in the lives of millions of children around the world in vulnerable situations. World Vision seeks to fill the following positions for the proposed Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) of Japan funded multi-year Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction Project, Nepal implemented in Kailali and Achham districts of Nepal. All the positions are based in Dhangadhi, West Field Office. Please note that these positions are contingent upon funding and donor approval.

1. Field Grants Finance Coordinator (1)

Key Responsibilities/ Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Provide financial management, budgeting and donor compliance support for Grants/ PNS funded projects. Ensure Financial management of Grant Projects ensuring 100% grants compliances. Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of finance, accounts or Grants Finance Management. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related field. Preferred MBA in Finance MSC in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or Qualified Accountant from Professional body like CA, ACCA, CPA, LIMA.

2. Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator (1)

Key Responsibilities/ Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Ensure all the MEAL function under MOFA project. Support in Evidence and Research functions and carry out the DPAC meeting at local level and ensures recording and reporting compliances of donor. Minimum 3 years of experience on MEAL with substantial years of experience on MEAL and Information Management System. Bachelor degree in Social Science, statistics, development studies, public health and relevant field. Master degree in social sciences, public health, statistics is preferred.

3. Project Technical Specialist (1)

Key Responsibilities/ Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Responsible for the overall management in compliance with donor's terms & guidelines and World Vision's finance and accounting policies along with Partner NGO. Ensure the quality oversight of project interventions. 5 years working experience national and/or international NGOs as a project lead for agriculture/economic development/livelihood project in Nepal. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline. Certification/ course on Climate smart Agriculture/C8DRM is preferred.

4. Disaster Risk Reduction (ORR) Coordinator [1]

Key Responsibilities/ Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Provide technical leadership in and to lead the implementation of (ARM activities. Promote community-based disaster management activities aiming to increase the resilience of children, communities, as well as local government officials. A master's degree in Disaster Risk Management, Environmental Science; or a degree in relevant field with substantial experience in DRR programming. 5 years of professional experience In Implementing CBDRR, DRRM, disaster resilient livelihood projects in the context of different geographical locations. 

5. Infrastructure Coordinator (Engineer) (1)

Key Responsibilities/ Minimum Qualifications and Experience required:

Lead the implementation of infrastructure related activities, and ensure the project's annual KPIs and targets related to infrastructure are achieved. Assess, design, develop estimate costing and to provide overall quality oversight of the physical infrastructure. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 years' experience or Diploma in civil Engineering with 10 years' experience in building construction works and disaster resilient infrastructures. Technical Knowledge of civil engineering, building construction and construction contract management in remote locations.
