Specialization and Entry Requirements for M.Phil Programs:

Specializations	Entry Requirements for M.Phil Programs
a) Educational Leadership b) Development Studies	A Master's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution with a minimum of50% score in aggregate or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.
a) STEAM Education	A Master's degree or equivalent in related fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Pure Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Applied Mathematics, etc.) from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% score in aggregate or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.
b) English Language Education	A Master's degree or equivalent in ELT/English Language Education/English Literature/English Linguistics with a minimum of 50% score in aggregate or CGPA 3.0 out of 4.

Specialization and Entry Requirements for Ph.D. Programs:

a) Educational Leadership b) Development Studies	17 years of formal education. A minimum of 50% score in aggregate or CGPA 3 out of 4 in the last degree in related fields. Applicants are required to submit their research proposal along with the application. An MPhil degree and publications of research articles are preferred.

b) English Language Education

Form distribution & submission: December 1, 2019 to January 5, 2020 (Time: 12:00-6:00 PM).

Application forms can be downloaded from www.kusoed.edu.np and submitted in person or via email at [email protected] along with other documents as attachments.

• Written Test: January 13, 2020 (Time: 12:00-2:00 PM)
• Interview: January 14, 2020 (Time: 12:00 PM onwards)
• Orientation Class: February 5, 2020 (Time: 5:00 PM)
• Classes start: February 6, 2020

NOTE

• MPhil programs run in regular and/or block modes
• As the Ph.D. applicants need to go through a specific process, they are required to contact the concerned departments before submitting their applications.

• Applicants waiting for the results of their last degree can also apply. In case someone cannot complete

their last degree, 70% of the fees paid will be reimbursed.
