Nepal Open University Opens Admission to Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT)
Nepal Open University, Faculty of Science, Health and Technology, has opened student admission to the semester-based undergraduate Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT) programme for the academic year 2083.
The Office of the Dean, Manbhawan, Lalitpur, issued the admission notice on 2083/03/22 under Reference No. 82/83 and Dispatch No. 108, inviting applications from eligible students.
Programme Details
Academic programme: Bachelor in Information Technology (BIT)
Duration and system: Four years (eight semesters)
Minimum admission qualification: Applicants must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level from a recognised university, the Secondary Level (10+2) from the National Examinations Board, or an equivalent qualification in any faculty or subject. Applicants must also possess basic computer skills and knowledge.
Total quota: 50 students
Total tuition fee: Rs. 373,700
Application fee: Rs. 1,000
Application Fee Payment Process
The application fee must be deposited in Nepal Open University’s Current Account No. 0050100000502 at Global IME Bank Limited, Kirtipur Branch.
Applicants must scan the bank deposit voucher and upload it with the online application form.
The University has stated that it has not yet entered into financial transaction agreements with digital service providers such as eSewa and Khalti. Students must therefore pay the fee through a bank deposit.
Applicants must retain the original bank voucher safely.

Other Conditions
The University will not be obliged to conduct classes or complete admission for any programme or subject if the number of applicants is fewer than 20.
