Thokarpa Samudayik Multiple Campus (ठोकर्पा सामुदायिक बहुमुखी क्याम्पस, ठोकर्पा, सिन्धुपाल्चोक) is a community-based campus located at Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-1, Thokarpa, Sindhupalchok, Bagmati Province, Nepal. Academic Programs
The campus offers two four-year annual-system bachelor’s programs. The education stream is offered through the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and the management stream is offered through the Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS). These programs allow students in the area to pursue higher education in fields that connect with teaching, administration, business, and public service.
The B.Ed. program is a four-year bachelor’s degree under TU’s Faculty of Education. The BBS program is a four-year bachelor’s degree under TU’s Faculty of Management. Both follow the annual examination system.
Scholarships and Local Support
Scholarship support is one of the important features of the campus. Scholarships are available for Dalit students, Indigenous communities, persons with disabilities, martyrs’ families, and students from extremely weak economic backgrounds.
A significant local policy has also been introduced through Sunkoshi Rural Municipality. The rural municipality has decided to bear the admission and monthly fees of regular bachelor-level students studying at the campus. This facility applies to students from seven wards of the municipality and is intended for those who attend classes regularly. Students studying from home do not receive this support. The policy is linked to a broader effort to retain students in rural higher education and connect graduation-level study with local production and community life.

The campus has received financial support and aid from Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati Province, and local residents of Thokarpa. This support reflects a shared local investment in expanding access to bachelor-level study in the area.
Available facilities and student support services include a library, sports, multimedia resources, journal activities, counseling, classrooms, a conference hall, dance, extracurricular activities, and scholarship support.
