Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing Science (PBNS) at Bheri Nursing College
The Post-Basic Bachelor of Nursing Science (PBNS) at Bheri Nursing College is a three-year nursing program affiliated with Purbanchal University. The curriculum is administered through the Faculty of Medical and Allied Sciences and combines nursing science, clinical subjects, community health, management, and research.
First-year study includes Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Microbiology/Parasitology, Biochemistry, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical-Surgical Nursing-I, Nursing Concept and Theories, Pediatric Nursing, Medical Sociology/Anthropology, and Professional English.
The second year covers Midwifery-I, Community Health Nursing-I, Psychiatric Nursing-I, Educational Science, Epidemiology, Geriatric Nursing, and Applied Computer Technology. Third-year subjects include Leadership and Management, Research and Biostatistics in Nursing, and Oncology Nursing. Students also study an elective in Community Health Nursing-II, Midwifery-II, Medical-Surgical Nursing-II, or Psychiatric Nursing-II.
