BSW Program Focus

The BSW program combines classroom study with practical social work activities. Students study the principles and methods of social work while developing skills through fieldwork and research.

The course aims to develop an understanding of social problems, human rights, social justice, community needs, and methods of working with individuals and groups. It also introduces students to research methods that can be used to identify community problems and examine possible responses.

A major part of the course is learning how social workers identify problems, understand the needs of affected people, use available service systems, and develop professional self-awareness.

Major Subjects

The four-year course includes eight Social Work papers, along with compulsory fieldwork and research-related academic work.
