The four-year B.Ed. is both an academic and professional education program. It is structured to prepare students to teach two subjects at the secondary level by combining one major specialization with a different minor specialization.
Students study subject content alongside educational psychology, curriculum, evaluation, teaching methods and classroom practice. The program also includes communication courses and an elective connected with instructional technology or ICT in education.

Communication Skills: 2 courses carrying 200 marks
Professional Core Areas: 4 courses carrying 400 marks
Specialization Major: 10 courses carrying 1,000 marks

The first year carries 600 marks and introduces communication, educational foundations and the selected specialization areas.
