Butwal Technical Institute (BTI) is going to provide free training in six technical trades. As per the annual approved program for FY 2082/83 of the Micro, Cottage and Small Industry Promotion Centre, a “workplace-based training” program is going to be conducted with participation from the private sector as well.
The institute issued a notice today inviting applications from interested eligible Nepali citizens up to 2082/10/28.
Training Trades and Quota
The institute will provide training to a total of 120 trainees. A quota of 20 trainees has been fixed for each trade. Except for AutoCAD, all other trainings will be fully residential and free of charge. The training trades are as follows:

Welding Electrician (including Plumbing)

Industrial Electrician

Mechanic Fitter
-
Lathe Setter Operator
-
Junior Welding Technician
-
AutoCAD (non-residential)
Minimum Required Eligibility
To apply, the candidate must be a Nepali citizen. The age requirement is that the candidate must have completed 16 years and must not have exceeded 45 years. The criteria also require the candidate to be able to read and write in general and to be physically fit. However, for the AutoCAD training, the candidate must have passed at least Grade 8.
Application Process
Interested individuals can apply in two ways:

Online: The form can be filled by logging in to the Training Online Application Portal on the website of the Micro, Cottage and Small Industry Promotion Centre at www.mscipc.gov.np, or by logging in at www.apply.mscipc.gov.np.

In person: The application form can be submitted by visiting the office of Butwal Technical Institute at Butwal-4, Adhahattan Path.
Additional Information
The institute has stated that no action will be taken on applications that are submitted after the deadline or are not properly completed.
