Arun Multiple Campus Fundraising Campaign Gains Support in Bhojpur
Bhojpur, Jestha 27. The fundraising campaign launched to operate Arun Multiple Campus, located at Pyauli, Arun Rural Municipality-3 in eastern Bhojpur, has become effective.
The campaign has been launched to strengthen the academic, administrative, and physical infrastructure of the campus, which was established at Pyauli, the center of Arun Rural Municipality, targeting students from Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha, and the eastern region of Bhojpur.
Campus Chief Gunraj Khanal informed that Rs. 631,607 has been collected so far in the campus operation fund through the guardian door-to-door program and voluntary support from youths in foreign employment, educational campaigners, intellectuals, education supporters, and former students.
Arun Rural Municipality has been providing Rs. 2.5 million annually for the campus, which has been operating for some time, while Shree Sharada Secondary School has been providing physical infrastructure free of cost.
Chief Khanal said the campaign had to be launched because the required financial support has not been received from the provincial government and the University Grants Commission UGC for campus operation.
He said guardians, education supporters, and others have been contributing happily because their children can study higher education in their own village.
At present, a total of 37 students are studying at the campus in the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Management.
