Bagmati University Publishes Results Within a Week of Exam Completion
Bagmati University, with its central office in Hetauda, has published the results of the regular examination of the first semester of academic programs conducted under the semester system within one week of the examination’s completion. By publishing the results within a short period after the examination, the university has started a new practice.
The university had started bachelor-level teaching one year ago. Under this, the first-semester examinations of the faculties of Management and Law, Science and Technology, and Education and Social Sciences began on Jestha 25 and concluded on Ashadh 9. According to the results published on Tuesday, a total of 345 students participated in the examination.
Faculty-Wise Academic Programs and Pass Percentages
According to the results published for all three faculties, the pass percentages are as follows:
Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (B.Ed): 89.44 percent
Faculty of Science and Technology (BIT): 79.03 percent
Faculty of Management and Law (BBA): 72.58 percent
According to Vice-Chancellor Dr. Kusumraj Subedi, the university, which is a project of pride of the Bagmati Province Government, is committed to publishing results on time in accordance with the annual academic calendar.
“The results of the examination conducted for the first time have been published on time. From now on, students will not have to wait for months for examination results,” he said.
According to the Vice-Chancellor, distribution of students’ mark sheets will begin from Wednesday. The university has stated that this will help increase the confidence of students and guardians in the university.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Subedi has also informed that the student admission process has started for various first-year bachelor-level programs for the academic session 2083/084 at the campuses under the university.
