Coronavirus World Update: 198,023 Deaths, 812,094 Recovered and 2,848,102 Cases

The world is constantly reeling from the havoc of the global pandemic Corona. So far more than one lakh 97 thousand people have lost their lives and over 28 lakh 30 thousand people are infected with this virus. While eight lakh people have been cured. 618 new cases of Coron in Singapore:

With 618 new cases of Coronavirus infection reported in Singapore on Saturday, the number of infected reached 12,693. According to media reports, 12 Kovid-19 patients have died in the country so far.

Most of the new cases related to work permit holders living in dormitories meant for foreign workers. These include Indian citizens who work in the construction sector. About 25 dormitories have been notified as separate habitat areas where foreign workers reside.

The ban on domestic and international flights to Nepal has been extended to 15 May, in view of the spread of the coronavirus.

Nationwide curfew ends in Sri Lanka since Monday:

Sri Lanka will remove a nationwide curfew imposed on Monday to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Police sources said that infection cases have crossed 400 in the country. The maximum number of 49 infections in the country were reported on Friday.
