Global IME Bank Notice for who have more than One Account and Cards:
According to the Unified Directive of Nepal Rastra Bank, 2077, banks and financial institutions shall not be allowed to open more than one account of the same nature (except Fixed Deposit account) in the name of a natural person in national currency and similarly, since a person is not allowed to issue more than one card (debit/credit) of the same type;
If the customer dignitaries (natural persons) have more than one account of the same nature (excluding Fixed Deposit account) in the national currency and/or more than one card (debit/credit) of the same type in this bank, within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice. It kindly requests you to close the card (debit/credit) and account at the nearest branch office of this bank.
After that time, all but one of such accounts will be closed or blocked at the discretion of the bank. We would like to inform you that the bank will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the customers in the future.
In addition, we would like to inform all concerned through this notice that the bank itself can close the dormant accounts with zero balance after the mentioned period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to customers.
