Kasthem Secondary School, located in Bhuji, a remote place in Ramechhap district, will provide computer education up to class 10. The school located in Bhuji of Umakunda Rural Municipality-7 is the only secondary school in the ward.
Hemant Kumar Sunuwar, headmaster of the school, said that computer education has been started from class 6 in the school from last year. According to him, computer classes are being conducted from class 6 to 8 and it is planned to take it to class 10. The school, which has 307 students, has 13 computers and has started training the students.
He said that they are looking for donors as there are problems in the practice due to lack of adequate computer. As there is demand for technical education from students and parents, the tendency of students to leave the village would end if they could provide technical education in the village, said Ward Chairman Rudramani Newar.
