List of Sporting Events Postponed because of the COVID-19 Pandemic:

It is mentioned here that some of the world's major sports postponed when the Coronavirus pandemic was stalled.

Tokyo Olympics 2020:

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has postponed the Tokyo Olympics one year. After the meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the organizer of the IOC postponed the Tokyo Olympics. After constant opposition and criticism from all over, the IOC did not delay the decision. Earlier, the Tokyo Olympics 2020 was set to begin on July 24. The Olympics, which take place every four years, will be 5 years later this time.

The 32nd edition is set to take place in Tokyo, Japan, after the first modern Olympics in 1896 in Athens, Greece. The Olympics, the largest fair in the world sporting event every four years, has no history of being canceled for any reason other than the World War.

International Football:

- Football is the biggest international sporting fair since the Euro-2020 World Cup. The Euro 2020 was scheduled for June 12 to July 12, but due to the Coronavirus, the Euro Cup is now due in 2021. Similarly, the women's euro is set in 2021 from July 7 to August 1. Likewise, the final game of the League of Nations has been postponed.

- Copa America, the largest football tournament in South America, is scheduled to take place in 2021 only. The competition, which will be held jointly in Argentina and Colombia, is scheduled for June 12 to July 12.

Club:

- UEFA has also postponed the Champions League, Europa League, and Women’s Champions League. No date for these contests has been set.

- More than ten thousand lives have been killed in Italy by the Coronavirus. Which is higher than any other nation. Sports activities including Siri 'A' in Italy have been stalled until April 3.

- The English Premier League will not be ahead on April 30.

- The Bundesliga in Germany is postponed until April 2.

- All professional football in Spain has been suspended indefinitely.

- Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in France and women's soccer are banned indefinitely.

- Most of the top leagues outside of Europe are affected by Corona. Japan's J-League is about to start too late. Major League Soccer in America and Super League in China has not started yet.

Rugby Union:

- The Six Nations tournament was postponed after four games. The organizers have also postponed the final phase in March. Six Nations will no longer be before October.

- France's Top 14, the English Premiership and the hemisphere Super Rugby have also been postponed. The semifinals and finals of the European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup are also postponed.

Motor racing:

- Under the Formula 1 session, any of the first eight races have been postponed and none canceled. Now Formula 1 launches on June 14th at the Canada Grand Prix in Montreal.

- The Indianapolis 500, scheduled to be held on May 24, under US Autoracing will only happen on August 23.

- The first five stages of the World Champions Cup under motorcycling have been postponed. Now the new season is expected to start from French Grand Prix on May 17th.

Golf:

- The Masters, The PGA Championship has been postponed indefinitely. The US PGA Tour is on hold until May 17.

- The European Tour is also set to begin on May 24th.

Cricket:

- All international cricket series has been canceled. They include Sri Lanka's tour of England, New Zealand's two ODIs and three T20 games against Australia, and the remaining two matches under the three-match series between India and South.

- The Indian Premier League (IPL) in India will be moved to April 15th. The competition was scheduled to take place on March 29.

- The T20 World Cup and the one-day qualifiers in 2023 are also postponed.

 Tennis:

- The GrandSlam French Open to be played in Claycourt will take place from September 20 to October 4. The competition, which was said to begin on May 24, The ATP and WTA Tour are also postponed until June 7.

- The Fed Cup final in Budapest has also been postponed indefinitely.

- Wimbledon, which is played on a grassy field, is sure to move by next week's meeting.

Basketball:

- The NBA is also postponed indefinitely.

Athletics:

- The World Indoor Championship has moved on for a year. The competition, which was scheduled for March 13 to 15 in Nanjing, China, was scheduled.

- The Boston Marathon, to be held on April 26, will be held on October 4 only.

- The London Marathon will also be October 4th. It was scheduled to be a marathon on April 26, 2020.
