Madane Rural Municipality Honours Outstanding Schools and Individuals

A felicitation program was held by Madane Rural Municipality, Gulmi, to honor outstanding schools, teachers, and students. The Chief of the District Coordination Committee, Dron Khatri, presented the honors to the selected individuals and institutions.

Honor to Retired Teacher

Under the Voluntary Retirement Fund Incentive Grant, retired teacher Churabahadur Bohora was honored. According to the Municipality’s Chief Administrative Officer Shalikram Panthi, Bohora received a cash prize of one lakh rupees, excluding provident fund benefits.

Recognition of SEE Performers

The following individuals were honored for achieving excellent results in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE):

  • Sanjay Kumar Sen, Principal of the top-performing school in the SEE

  • Anshu Paudyal, top-performing female student within the municipality

  • Prashant Bhattarai, top-performing male student within the municipality

Honor to Students from Marginalized Groups

Recognition was also extended to outstanding students from Dalit and Janajati communities:

  • Dalit Female Student: Apsana BK

  • Dalit Male Student: Suryabahadur BK

  • Janajati Female Student: Muna Gharti

  • Janajati Male Student: Manzil Shrestha

  • Technical Stream Female Student: Muna Thapa

Awards Based on Learning Achievement Tests

Schools securing first, second, and third positions in classes 3, 5, 8, and 9 under the Learning Achievement Test (LAT) were honored. Likewise, students who stood first, second, and third in those classes were also felicitated.

Recognition Under Special Education Programs

Under the Education Program with the Vice-Chairperson, a total of:

  • 44 talented students, selected and recommended by their schools,

  • and 21 students recognized under the Talent Development Program, were honored.

In addition:

  • 40 teachers and staff, recommended by the Ward Education Committees based on teacher-student ratios, received honors.

  • Grants were distributed to schools categorized as excellent based on contracts signed with their respective principals across various levels.
