Padmashree College Students Illuminate Lives at Sunaulo Bihani Cerebral Palsy Day Care Center, Pokhara
During their semester break, a group of dedicated students from Padmashree College embarked on a transformative journey, inspired by the 3CC event and a desire to make a positive impact on society. After careful consideration, they identified Sunaulo Bihani Cerebral Palsy Day Care Center in Pokhara, Nepal, as their partner in this noble endeavor. This remarkable organization provides unwavering support to 14 children aged 5 to 15, each bravely facing the challenges of cerebral palsy. Recognizing the need for support, the students aimed to provide both care and essential resources that may not be readily available to these children.
Collaboration with the Lions Club of Lekhnath Garden City
In their pursuit of creating a lasting impact, the students sought collaboration with the Lions Club of Lekhnath Garden City. This esteemed organization, renowned for its impactful social work, graciously joined forces with them, becoming proud sponsors of their social welfare program. Together, with the support of the Lions Club, the students donated a range of essential hygiene products, such as adult diapers, sanitary pads, soap, towels, and more. These contributions aim not only to ensure the physical well-being of the children but also to empower the carers with resources that enhance their quality of life.
