
Notice Regarding Appointment of Chief Executive Officer
Simbuwa Remit Hydro Limited, New Baneshwar, Kathmandu - This notice is published to inform interested Nepali citizens that the vacant position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Simbuwa Remit Hydro Limited will be filled through an open competitive process.
Eligible applicants must submit their applications in the prescribed format along with the required fee within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication during office hours to the company’s office located on the fourth floor of the Citizen Investment Trust Building, New Baneshwar-31, Kathmandu.

1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Work Experience

Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Finance, or Economics from a recognized university, or
-
Chartered Accountancy qualification
-
At least 7 years of experience in hydropower construction, operation, or investment, including at least 4 years in senior management (as Project Head, Department Head, or above)
2. Age Requirement
-
Must be at least 35 years and not over 55 years of age at the time of appointment
3. Disqualifications
Applicants will not be eligible if they fall under any of the following:

Convicted in criminal cases related to corruption, money laundering, drug trafficking, human trafficking, or moral turpitude

Suspended under prevailing laws
-
Listed as a defaulter, blacklisted, or involved in loan default or insolvency
-
Holding unsettled dues or liabilities to government funds
-
Citizen or permanent resident of a foreign country

Strategic work plan (3 copies) as per Clause 5, signed and sealed, excluding any identity indicators or signatures inside the plan

All submitted documents must include the applicant’s signature on each page, confirming accuracy
5. Strategic Work Plan
Applicants must submit a strategic plan not exceeding 5,000 words in either Nepali or English. The plan should include all items outlined in Clause 6 of the CEO Appointment Procedure, 2081.
Three sealed copies must be submitted, with the name, surname, and address written only on the outer envelope. No personal identification marks or signatures should appear inside the plan.
6. Grounds for Rejection
Applications will be rejected if:

The candidate does not meet the requirements mentioned in Sections 1 and 2

Falls under disqualifications listed in Section 3

Fails to submit required documents as per Section 4

Submissions are incomplete or improper
7. Selection Process
Selection will be based on the evaluation criteria and scoring outlined in Clause 7 of the CEO Appointment Procedure, 2081, and will follow the procedures specified in Clause 8 of the same procedure.
8. Term of Office
The term of the Chief Executive Officer will be a maximum of 4 years from the date of appointment.
9. Role-Based Conditions
The CEO's roles and responsibilities will be governed by the company's memorandum of association, bylaws, performance agreement, and directives set by the Board of Directors.
10. Performance Agreement
A performance agreement will be signed between the CEO and the Board of Directors, outlining responsibilities, performance metrics, remuneration, allowances, benefits, and terms for removal in case of non-performance.
11. Remuneration and Service Terms
The CEO's salary, benefits, service conditions, and other facilities will be as per the company's bylaws, appointment procedures, and decisions of the Board of Directors, and will be detailed in the performance agreement.
12. Application Fee
Applicants must deposit NPR 3,000 (Three Thousand Rupees only) to the account of Simbuwa Remit Hydro Limited at NMB Bank Ltd., Account No. 9900116714200011, and submit the original deposit voucher along with the application.
13. Other Provisions
All matters related to appointments will be governed by the Company’s Bylaws and the CEO Appointment Procedure, 2081.
